Title: Sales Representative
Reports To: Director of Sales
Location: Peterborough
Position Summary
We are a rapidly growing corrugated paper products company that is currently seeking a results- driven Sales Representative to join our team at our Peterborough branch. The Sales Representative will support the growth of the business by generating new leads, developing new business and curating existing accounts.
About the Job
- Leveraging tools provided by the Company to generate call lists and actively prospecting new business opportunities
- Developing new business relationships within the assigned territory
- Working closely with existing clients to understand their business needs and offer the best customized solutions
- Managing the full sales cycle from beginning to end
- Managing existing client accounts
- Working with Design team to develop creative packaging solutions to address unique customer needs and suggest ideas for improvement and innovation
- Working with Customer Service and Estimating departments to ensure customer orders are quoted and fulfilled appropriately
- Tracking and logging sales metrics and reporting regularly to the Director of Sales
- Frequent travel within the territory is required
About You
- You describe yourself as a self-starter and have a go-getter attitude
- You ideally have previous sales experience in a similar space (corrugated containers or manufacturing)
- You are excellent with people and are great with building and maintaining relationships
- You have a University Degree or College Diploma in business or marketing
- You have excellent customer service skills
