We are currently recruiting for the following positions: Operations Manager Reporting to the General Manager, you will direct the production group while developing and maintaining a solid organization of supervisors, technical and hourly staff in order to run production safely and efficiently. You will establish and carry out continuous improvement projects within the manufacturing process. A minimum of five years’ experience as an Operations Manager in an ISO/TS 16949 environment is a requirement. Production Supervisor Reporting to the Operations Manager, you resolve daily problems associated with the smooth running and production in specific areas of the plant. You will coordinate new program launches with the Quality, Engineering, Sales and Materials Departments. Working within a Collective Agreement, you will conduct daily shift communication meetings, manage manpower and implement LEAN Manufacturing Principles. Quality Engineering Specialist Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process and/or quality systems. You will facilitate the development of Control Plans and continuously audit systems and processes. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of Quality Assurance or equivalent experience is required. An understanding of automotive supplier expectations and requirements are a definite asset. Tool & Die Maker You will demonstrate a high degree of workmanship quality and quantity to ensure quick turn-around times for die repairs and production deadlines while ensuring customer satisfaction. Dedicated to safety and producing quality castings in a cost-effective manner, your superior blueprint reading, fitting skills, and measuring skills are supported by a certificate of qualification as a Tool and Die Maker or Mouldmaker. Tool Maintenance Technician Reporting to the Toolroom Supervisor, you will evaluate and assess the condition of dies, assemble and disassemble dies, and provide minor repairs. A minimum of one year of tooling/machining experience along with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are a definite asset. General Labour As a General Labourer you may be producing, assembling, tapping, trimming, inspecting and/or packaging castings according to work instructions. You will visually inspect castings for contamination/defects and complete required paperwork. Applicants must be high school graduates, have an advanced level of manual dexterity and be able to work shifts. Customer Service Representative Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will act as “Go-To Person” to expedite the resolution of plant issues regarding quality, delivery and scheduling and serve as our customer’s single point contact in the event of a problem. You will develop meaningful relations with “key” customers, manufacturer representatives and subcontractors. Millwright You will be able to perform routine and scheduled preventative maintenance on plant equipment and have working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. As a certified Millwright, you will be able to efficiently diagnose breakdowns and perform the necessary work to prevent or reduce downtime. A basic knowledge of industrial electricity and ability to work from blueprints are a definite asset.
