INSIDE Technical Sales Position Bilingual Preferred (English & French) Canadian Life Science Inc. is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, personable and organized individual to join our Sales Team. Canadian Life Science is a privately owned company, providing laboratory supplies for analytical, bioanalytical and organic chemistry. Our company has built a reputation for excellent customer service, flexibility, after sales support care and competitiveness. Working from our Peterborough Head Office, this individual will generate sales in rural areas and support marketing activities. The expectation for this position is growth and development of new business. The role of the inside sales representative is to coordinate all phases of the sales cycle including prospecting, discovery phone calls, qualification, account management, proposals, quotations and follow-ups/closing the sale. Responsibilities of the position: •Prospect and create new sales opportunities, generate leads, follow-up on leads generated by marketing and identify opportunities for repeat business. •Engage potential customers via cold calling. •Build strong relationships with potential customers while providing a consultative sales approach. •Respond to customers regarding product information, product delivery, quotes, contracts, etc. •Develop and implement a sales plan, develop effective ways to market products to increase company revenue and profitability. •Maintain CRM system (Customer Relationship Management) by continually updating information. •Participate in sales meetings. Skills and qualifications: •Bilingual (English & French) PREFERRED •Performance oriented individual who interacts well with others. •University or college degree in analytical chemistry and / or equivalent experience. •Great communication skills, Great listening skills •Customer solution oriented Sales approach. •Strong work ethic, motivated and ability to work independently, organized •Enthusiastic, and dynamic over the phone. •Ability to prioritize and deliver results. •Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, the web in general and the ability to adapt quickly to new software.
